About

I am Professor of Innovation Management at the Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Strasbourg, and a researcher at the BETA research laboratory.

My research focuses on innovation management, artificial intelligence and management, organizational resilience, management control, cost management, strategy and decision-making. A recurring question across my work is how organizations make choices, allocate resources and adapt when technologies, markets and institutional environments change.

My work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals in management and economics, as well as in books, book chapters and practitioner-oriented publications.

Alongside research and teaching, I have held several academic leadership positions.

I served a full term as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Strasbourg.

I also served a full term as Deputy Vice-President for Learning and Teaching at the University of Strasbourg.

I teach at bachelor’s, master’s, PhD and DBA levels and have extensive international teaching experience across Europe, North America and Asia.

I also contribute to the Pan-European Executive MBA, a joint programme involving the University of Strasbourg, the University of York and CITY ULE in Thessaloniki.

Across these activities, I am particularly interested in connecting rigorous academic research with concrete managerial and organizational challenges. I see research, teaching and engagement with organizations as complementary ways of developing and disseminating management knowledge.
