Research
My research examines how organizations make choices, allocate resources and adapt when technologies, markets and institutional environments change.
Across different projects, I focus on four connected areas: innovation management and strategy, artificial intelligence and management, resilience and adaptation, and management control and cost management.
I am particularly interested in research that combines theoretical development with problems faced by organizations and decision-makers.

Innovation Management & Strategy
Organizations rarely lack ideas. The more difficult questions concern which opportunities to pursue, how resources should be allocated, how innovation activities should be organized, and how firms adapt their strategies as technologies and competitive environments evolve.
My research examines innovation strategy, business models, organizational design and strategic decision-making, with particular attention to the relationship between innovation choices and organizational performance.
Artificial Intelligence & Management
Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming part of managerial work rather than simply a technological tool.
My research examines how organizations integrate AI into decision-making, coordination and organizational processes. I am particularly interested in how managers evaluate AI-generated outputs, how AI changes the distribution of tasks between humans and technologies, and under which conditions it improves or constrains managerial action.
Resilience & Adaptation
Organizations operate in environments characterized by disruptions, uncertainty and unexpected change.
My research examines how organizations prepare for disruption, absorb shocks and adapt their structures and strategies over time. It considers different forms of flexibility and resilience and the conditions under which organizations recover, maintain performance or transform themselves in response to changing environments.
Management Control & Cost Management
Management control systems influence how organizations allocate resources, evaluate performance and translate strategic objectives into operational decisions.
My research in this area examines management control, cost management, performance measurement and decision-support systems. I am particularly interested in how these tools should evolve when organizations face technological change, innovation, uncertainty and new forms of organizational flexibility.
